Purpose/Objective:
Quality of life (QOL) has not been assessed for patients undergoing adjuvant chemoradiation therapy (CRT) for gastric cancer. Between September 2002 and March 2007 we evaluated QOL in patients with resected stage 1B‐IV(M0) gastric adenocarcinoma in a phase I study using 45Gy in 25 fractions, with 12 weeks of concurrent infusional 5FU. Bi‐weekly cisplatin was added to successive cohorts 1 to 5 (4 cycles of 0, 20, 30, 40mg/m2; then 40mg/m2 for 5 cycles) in a standard dose escalating study design.
