Abstract # 2887 Fractional Integral Target Dose Comparison for I-125, Pd-103 and Cs-131 in Prostate Seed Implants

Conclusions:
From the preliminary comparison, Pd‐103 is the most efficient isotope in utilizing energy followed by I‐125, and Cs‐131 is the least efficient. From fraction of excess energy data, it indicates pre‐plans using Pd‐103 will be hot (higher V200 and higher D90 for urethra). Cs‐131 will have the least hot plans (lower V200) at the expenses of surrounding healthy tissues (higher D30 for rectum).
